The Eco update
Brief Ecology invites scientists, academics, scholars, and critics to contribute to our monthly publication, The Eco Update. We are looking for short (under 500 words) articles that cover recent research and other scholarly work at the nature-society intersection. We are also looking for short reviews of recently published eco-fiction.
We are not able to offer payment for short articles at the moment, but we heavily promote article authors and make all issues freely available online to reach the widest possible audience.
If you would like to contribute an article to The Eco Update, send your pitch to editor@briefecology.com with the subject line “Article Pitch”
Photography
Want to have your photography featured in an issue of The Eco Update of The Biodiversity Bulletin? Send your best nature photography to editor@briefecology.com with the subject line “Photo Submission” to be considered
